Cambrian Rally

These are a few shots from the Cambrian rally, a trail bike rally, run over 3, 40 mile, laps of mid Wales. I've fancied entering for a while and was persuaded to by John Monger, who has used an Elefant in several events last year. After my rash entry I was joined by another ex cheshire TRF fugitive, Tony Bramah, on his immaculate BMW 1150GS Adventure. Tony was very careful.
Also doing the event was the ever reliable John Monger, Paul Chatfield riding my loaned CRM, following the theft of his KLR650, and Tim Marquis on his KTM, oh, and about 250 other blokes on bikes. Thanks to Tim for about half these pics (the non linked ones).

Also thanks to Rivi Ron and Paul Kristiansen who came up to support us, and the others whose names I didn't know/can't remember.

Myself and Tony Bramah, in the army's Fighting in built up Area's training village (used for the event start).

No Fighting though.

(L - R), Me, Paul Chatfield, Big Tone, amd Tim Marquis.

With my trusty CRM in the foreground (Paul's mount) and John Monger's E900 .

Big Tone at the start, as usual, surrounded by girls (note the pink numbers).

Big Tone, still at the start, still, as usual, surrounded by girls.

The 1150Adventure and Tim's KTM Adventure (how confusing).

John Monger, with his '94 E900, note i.e. plastics, KTM forks,
21" KTM front wheel and 18" rear wheel.
Looks and rides sharp.
Cagiva rear shock still bottoms out though.

Paul, my CRM, and Rivi Ron, of the Big Trail Bike Club, come all the way from Preston to support us.

Richard Jakobek's airhead BM.

Tim's adventure.

Me. looking particularly heroic.

Tim, and his Adventure, having an Adventure.

Me. looking particularly worried, on a timed section, a military driving course.

Me (again) as you can see, not looking far enough ahead, and still a bit worried.

Ele, post event shots.

Tony's Adventure, post adventure.

Tony's Trophies, post adventure.
